Known Issues:

  • The Dixie Group sends pricing (both new catalog and updates) for styles only - not colors.  Price / Product Catalog includes color names, but no specific pricing for them, sending price changes only at the style level. QFloors adds pricing to the colors from the styles, and because QFloors manages catalog changes by matching on SKU numbers (which are at the color level), duplicates could be created. We are working with Mike on a solution, but until resolved, only consider using their Price / Product Catalog, knowing that it will not update in harmony with QFloors.   (6/2016)

If you choose to use any of the 3 Dixie Group manufacturers, please consider the following:

The Dixie Group has adopted a different method for importing and updating pricing than is standard in B2B. It is not a violation of the B2B Standard, but it is not the normally followed method. An acceptable resolution is close at hand.

In updating a new, full Product Catalog, you must follow the steps below to import their pricing files properly:

Start the B2B Import process as normal.

Select the correct Manufacturer from the drop-down.

Click the Advanced button in the upper right corner of the import window.

Un-check the SKU box from the options available.

Check the Style Number box.

Click the Start Matching button.

Click Yes to use Exact Matching.

After matching is complete, review the matches or simply click the Check/Uncheck All button (this is a toggle button, sometimes you must click it twice).

Click the Finalize Matches button.

Click the box to select "Style Match - Update all colors in catalog for selected style".

Leave the box for "Style Match - Add unmatched colors into catalog for selected style" checked.

Select to import pricing in SqFt or SqYrds.

Click OK to update the Product Catalog.

Click Yes to save the .html file.

Review the Style and Color data for UnMatched and Selected in the upper right corner.

If all those numbers are "0", click the Done or Leave File (as appropriate) to finish working with the file.

If there are additional styles and colors remaining, Click the Import Remaining button.

Click the Check/Uncheck All button (this is a toggle button, sometimes you must click it twice).

Click the Finalize Matches button.

Click the box to select "Style Match - Update all colors in catalog for selected style".

Leave the box for "Style Match - Add unmatched colors into catalog for selected style" checked.

Select to import pricing in SqFt or SqYrds.

Click OK to updated the Product Catalog.

Click Yes to save the .html file.

Review the Style and Color data for UnMatched and Selected in the upper right corner.

If all those numbers are "0", click the Done or Leave File (as appropriate) to finish working with the file.

Repeat the process for all available files from any of the 3 Dixie Group manufacturers.
