Family-Owned Software Business Celebrates 25 Years

December 2024

QFloors, a flooring software company based in South Jordan, Utah, recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, marking a milestone of growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to its employees and customers.

Celebration Highlights:

The celebration included games like a photo scavenger hunt, employee bingo, and QFloors trivia. A timeline banner displaying employee photos and start dates underscored the company’s loyalty and growth.

Near the end of the event, QFloors co-founders (and brothers) Chad and Trent Ogden shared heartfelt reflections on the company’s journey, emphasizing the importance of creating a workplace where employees feel valued and supported. Both praised employees' dedication and shared commitment to customer success.

In an era where not many employees stay with a company for 25 years, we are grateful for all of our team members that have been with us for nearly that long.

Historical Context and Milestones:

Founded in 1999, QFloors was created in response to the need of Chad and Trent Ogden's father, Steve Ogden, for user-friendly and efficient flooring business management software. The co-founders combined their technical and industry expertise to create a Windows-based system that revolutionized the industry. Over the years, QFloors has grown to serve over 1,300 flooring businesses and continues to expand its product offerings and integrations.

Looking Ahead:

QFloors is poised for continued innovation with plans to develop new software products and enhance integrations with third-party tools. The company’s future vision includes groundbreaking technology advancements and strengthening industry partnerships. To commemorate its anniversary, QFloors is hosting a series of events, promotions, and a user conference cruise to Alaska in 2025, blending training, networking, and celebration.

This anniversary marks not just a celebration of the past but also an exciting beginning for the company’s next chapter. Here’s to the future!

Back in our early days, I don’t think we could have imagined that 25 years later we would be where we are today, doing what we’re doing, and making a difference in the industry. But here we are. It’s been a great ride. We appreciate our industry partners and our customers for coming along on that ride with us.
